‘Sterling's Guide to London's West End..'
The West End covers such world renown areas like Mayfair, Park Lane, and Oxford Street. The main reason why living in this part of London is so popular is because here you can have the best of both worlds. On the one hand there is an abundance of shops, museums and entertainment. You can truly experience the hustle and bustle of the City! On the other hand, you have the beautiful green spaces of Hyde Park and the waterfront of the Serpentine.
From a convenience view point, should you travel a great deal, the transport links to the airport are excellent. The Heathrow Express runs from Paddington station and takes only 20 minutes. If you would like to experience the best of the British countryside, you can take the M40 and M1 out of London and these routes are all within easy reach from the West End!
Residential architecture within this part of London varies incredibly however, there are many beautiful roads that boast stunning white Georgian, stucco fronted period buildings and have their own private gardens. Take a walk down Bryanston Square, Hyde Park Square and Montague Mews, to sense a real feeling of home. The gardens are for residents only and allow you the use of a well maintained exclusive garden in the heart of the City.
